I always loved working with my hands. As a child I made things with wood, clay, metals, paper and paints. In high school my teachers focused on my art; working on my portfolio toward college.
Instead, I was drawn to sign language and used my artistic hands go to the Rochester Institute of Technology where I completed an intensive Summer program in American Sign Language (ASL).
